The History:
Jurong Parishioners used to go to the Parish of St. Joseph in Bt. Panjang. A chapel in honour of Our Lady Of Fatima was built at Tuas Village in 1958.In 1967, the Parish was shifted to a rented shophouse and became the Taman Jurong Catholic Chapel. The chapel soon became insufficient for the churchs activities. A new church was needed when the Catholic population of Boon Lay estate grew.
The current church was purchased from Jurong Town Corporation in 1973. Construction started in 1975 and it was declared open by Mr. Noel Goh on 11th December 1976.
