The Facts:
The temple was first built in the end of the 1980s and later relocated from Bukit Batok.This temple is the combination of 8 different temples. The purpose of combining the temples was to maximize land use. There are two buildings at the premises. The left building consists of three temples, while the right building consists of five temples.
The History:
All eight temples which made up the Jurong Temple, originally came from Jalan Petua. They were located at different areas in the kampong.The government wanted to use the land for developmental purposes, the temples in this area moved to its current location in the late 1980s.
The old temple still lies currently in its past location and was built in the 1950s.
