Ar-Raudhah means Garden in the heaven. The work on Masjid Ar-raudhah started in 1989 and completed in 1993.The development of the building cost S$ 6.2 million.
Unlike other mosques, it is unique because it does not have a dorm on top of its building.
The mosque prides itself for having an extensive library of Islamic literatures. Built in 1993, it is located in the West and is one of the pioneer mosque offering computer facilities to Muslims. It can accommodate up to 3,000 worshippers. On 24 January 1993, it was officially declared open by Mr Sidek Sanip, then the Minister of State of Education.
