The History:

The mosque was declared open on 30 April 1978. Redevelopment of the mosque was carried out and completed at the end of year 2002. The redevelopment was to accommodate the large Muslim population expected in the Jurong West Extension area.

Islamic Civilization Corner:

The Islamic Civilization Corner is used to educate the people (both Muslims and non-Muslims) about the Islamic heritage and it also contains a replica of the Quran given to the mosque by the Saudi Consulate in 2006.
