Description:

In the 1960s, the mosque was built on a hill which was surrounded by vast vegetable lands for farming at Chua Chu Kang Road together with the work of the Muslim community there and also Minister of State, late Dr Haji Yaa’cob Mohamed.
The mosque was previously named Masjid Jamek.
Because the mosque was on a hill and being located at a T-junction road which was always affected by heavy traffic conditions, it was inaccessible.
